Edward P. Stewart

Chief Executive Officer

Edward brings an extensive history in construction, project management and client development to the NOVA Mission Critical Team. In addition to growing up around construction since he was young working for his family’s construction company, Edward utilizes his extensive and valuable background in the New York City Real Estate Investment Market, as well. Edward is responsible for the overall mechanics of the NOVA Mission Critical business. He has worked with many Fortune 500 institutions in their Data Center development, including CyrusOne, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, CenturyLink, Equinix, DataFoundry, Pfizer, Cologix, Merck, Dell, Iron Mountain and The Dubai Police.

Michael Maldari

EVP of Operations & Product Delivery

Michael brings over two decades of engineering, Mission Critical operations, professional product services, commissioning, and project management to NOVA. His leadership within Syska Hennessy Group in the Facilities Management and Commissioning Practice areas focused on group growth, industry relationships, and regional management in the Mission Critical realm. Michael has worked with some major Fortune 500 companies including Bank of America, Chevron, Verizon, Citigroup, Caterpillar, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Raytheon, Cummins, CBRE, Hershey, Bloomberg and JLL, as well as some major data center providers including CyrusOne, AT&T, Telx, and Digital Realty Trust. For those Clients, he helped build, commission, and operate facilities with multiple complexities and densities around the globe. Michael focuses his abilities on supporting NOVA Operations and Product Delivery, ensuring the core team has a well-defined strategy to provide the high quality product and services that Clients have come to expect from the NOVA brand.

Edward G. Bohn

Chief Financial Officer / Treasurer

Ed Bohn is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of NOVA Mission Critical and is responsible for the company’s financial functions, including financial reporting, taxes, as well as financial planning and analysis. Prior to joining NOVA in 1991, Ed served in multiple roles such as Financial Director, Vice President of Finance, Senior Vice President-Special Projects and Chief Financial Officer, with various public and private companies such as Nuwave Technology, Inc. and Emerson Radio. During his career, Ed has managed the financial operations of public and private companies with revenue numbers in excess of a billion dollars annually.

Michael J. Doyle

Vice President of Estimating

Mike, who has been active with NOVA since 1980, brings years of hands-on, practical experience to NOVA. His experience includes being a licensed NJ Certified Building Inspector. Managing the Estimating Department since 1986, Mike has created a resource that yields rapid turnaround budgets and firm quotations to suit the market’s demands. His vast knowledge of subcontractors in all trades brings a cost-effective bottom line to our Clients. Mike transforms each proposal into a format of critical specifications as well as a list of cost-saving recommendations.

Brian Achten

Vice President of PreConstruction

Brian has an undying optimism when faced with the most challenging and complicated Data Center construction projects. He brings two decades of Data Center design, build and operations experience to NOVA Mission Critical. He has built and operated successful Internet Data Centers with uptime far exceeding industry standards. In addition to his extensive hands-on experience, Brian is certified in the following: CDCDP, CDCD, DCE, DCP, DCM, DCC He is a key leader in the entire work acquisition process including management, coordination and delivery of the PreConstruction phases of the project and is involved in extensive Client contact. Brian is ultimately responsible for all aspects and phases of PreConstruction, including project planning, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of a particular project. He also works closely with all members of the Project Team, Project Executives and Regional Leadership teams. Brian is adept at bringing the vision to life for each and every Client, one project at a time. 

Paul D. Drew

Director, UK Region

Paul has over 25 years of management experience in the construction industry, thirteen years of which he has spent specializing in construction and operation of Mission Critical telecommunications and Data Center facilities throughout Europe, Asia-Pac and the United States. Paul has vast experience delivering projects. He has managed close to one million square feet of Data Center building projects across eleven countries, successfully leading multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural teams. Paul has worked both on the Client side and the build side of project execution, enabling him to have a unique understanding and appreciation of Client requirements and expectations.

Brian J. Fleury

Senior Site Manager

Brian is responsible for Site Supervision Services at NOVA. He has over 35 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and over 25 years as a Union Affiliate. He is a licensed Building Sub Code Official and is also the Safety Coordinator for the company. He is readily available to Clients and inspects all of NOVA’s construction sites on a consistent basis. Brian also plays a vital role in NOVA’s Health & Safety program and performs annual company-wide H&S meetings, as well as regular training seminars on project safety.

Our vision, as well as the reality of who we are, has never changed in the past nine decades. The only thing that changed is the market and where we focus our talents. The mountains of data that we help our customers manage with the Data Centers that we deliver evolves by the hour. The good news is that NOVA remains agile in every way. We still have high quality people. We create an environment where people are inspired to come to work because we believe that our employees need to love the company before our Clients can.
